What We Do

Critchill School works with parents, families and carers providing information, support and advice to help enable children to achieve their potential at home and school. We are here to support you with any concerns you may have as a parent or Carer and ensure you have access to appropriate services. Our support can provide:

  • Help with finding and accessing local support groups and other useful information
  • Strategies to encourage desirable behaviour and to manage misbehaviour
  • Support to help you manage your child’s emotional behaviour
  • Help to improve your child’s confidence and self-esteem
  • Information about starting school
  • Help to develop positive attitudes to school and improve attendance
  • Support during key transition times such as changing schools
  • Signposting to relevant specialist agencies
  • Confidentiality and impartial advice
  • Access to family learning Support to get back to work or education
  • Discussion about family concerns
